5 TIPS TO HOSTING A CHRISTMAS COOKIE PARTY

Jingle bells, fresh floral smells, bring those cookies my way!  It’s getting close to Christmas and the calendar is filled with holiday events and cookie parties. The perfect set up may be difficult to achieve when hosting in your home, but with these tips and tricks, we will make your cozy cookie party no sweat and way prettier than those ugly Christmas sweaters!   Tip 1 – CHOOSE ONE SHOW STOPPER Choose one or two floral show stoppers to have in your home. A centerpiece with vibrant holiday colors will brighten up the room and add a wow factor to your everyday living furniture.       Tip 2 – LESS IS MORE When it comes to hosting a cookie party, an open space for the cookie spread is a must. Let the cookies be the center of attention. Adding a colorful tablecloth will create a fun platform for the cookies to be the star of the show!   Tip 3 – NAUGHTY OR NICE Having a signature drink at a cookie party will create less of a hassle when hosting. This cranberry pineapple punch is perfect for a cozy Christmas cocktail. Always make a “nice” version for those who choose not to drink.   Tip 4 – FOR THE KIDS If you are having kids attend your party it can be challenging to find a universal gift to give to your guests for attending. Giving a bottle of sparkling grape juice, or cider is a cute way to include the kids in an adult gift. Try adding a fun bow to tie in some holiday cheer!     Tip 5 – PICK YOUR PLATE A charcuterie board spread is a great way to fill the table with food without being too overpowering.  Select meats and cheeses that you love to share with your friends and family for an amazing evening together!   If decorating for the Holidays seems too overwhelming always remember House of Dipali specializes in creating a unique setting for any event you are having.  We would love to help you fill the holidays with love by creating amazing festive décor special for your event!
